Dear Jan,

This year's SpringFest was a tremendous success and a great deal of the credit that is due to the terrific carnival you brought to our campus.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with you and be around many carnival operations. I am a twenty-five year member of the West Side Nut Club, and have attended that festival in Evansville for more than fifty years. I have never had the pleasure to work with an organization as cooperative, friendly, and courteous as you, your family, and your staff.

In the short time since SpringFest, many students and staff have commented on how great they thought the Burton Brothers carnival was. Comments have touched on the variety of rides, the courtesy of the staff, the friendliness of the ride operators, etc.

If you ever need a reference, please feel free to let me know. I would recommend Burton Brothers Amusements to anyone, and I look forward to talking with you soon about returning next year. Please pencil-in April 15 & 16, 2005.

I write this letter of reference with great pleasure. I have been a Floyd county 4-H volunteer for 15 years as well as a facilitator for the Floyd County 4-H Fairgrounds in Indiana for over 4 years.

Several years ago the Floyd County 4-H Fair committee began a business relationship with Burton Brothers Amusements. The relationship grew to be not only a profitable one but also a trusted bond. The fair committee as well as our community were extremely pleased with this well presented carnival company and their family.

Burton Bros. outgrew our fair and unfortunately our business association came to an amicable end in 2001. Since then though Burton Brothers Amusements have graciously provided us with continuous guidance and support for continued success in our fund raising efforts.

Should the opportunity arise we would be pleased to sign with their company again.

Thank you for providing our community with a very enjoyable carnival. In our second year, you have again demonstrated that you operate a very professional, organized and clean business.

We appreciate your integrity in dealing with the financial side and the way you handle your staff. We certainly expect no problems and it’s nice to report that there have been none this year or last.

The Spring Carnival was also financially successful for our club. The funds generated will support the many programs sponsored by the Batesville Kiwanis. This is a great benefit for our community in addition to all the fun everyone had on the rides and with the games.
